I recently discovered the glorious Rocketboom. What is Rocketboom? Well, allow me to elaborate. Rocketboom is an informative and entertaining daily 3-minute video blog. It's anchorwoman, Amanda Congdon, covers anything from top news stores to internet culture. Also, she films alot of her show in the same building as The Daily Show. So, she has that going for her. They shoot with a consumer-level camera, and distribute the video for free online. They spend absolutely no money on promotion, and rely entirely on word-of-mouth.

Ever wanted to see a movie, but didn't know the showtimes or what theater has it playing? Well thanks to MashMap you'll never be late for a show again. Using the glorious technology of Google Maps combined with a database of theaters you can look up showtimes, locations, and directions to any theater near you. I however, don't have to deal with this, seeing as I live in the corntown of Farmersville, but I figure those of you in the big cities could take advantage of this service.
